Manzoor and Babar Azam brings up 100 runs stand

Asked to bat first, Karachi lost opener Joe Denly in the second over, but were buoyed by a 101-run stand between opener Khurram Manzoor and Babar Azam. The pair dragged the team past the 100-run mark in the 16th over, setting the stage up for a late onslaught. That, however, was nipped in the bud by medium pacer Faheem Ashraf, who started off by breaking the big stand and picking two more wickets to stand in the way of a strong finish for Karachi. He ended with exceptional figures of 3 for 23 in 4 overs, but Mohammad Rizwan went after Sami in the final over to push the team past the 150-run mark.
