Umaid Asif, Ibtisam Sheikh gives Peshawar a comfortable win

Peshawar Zalmi open their account and get on the board with a comprehensive win here in Dubai, courtesy a few wonderful performances. Akmal got the Zalmi off to a flyer, as they raced to 100/1 off the first ten overs. The Islamabad bowlers then pulled it back, conceding just 76 more. However, the Islamabad batting just fell apart and they failed to build a single partnership until it was too late, with Faheem Ashraf lacing a fluent 54 off 30 along with Raees at the other end. The star with the ball was Asif who picked up the top four with the score at 25, and made early in-roads. And Islamabad never quite recovered, ending up well short of the target.
