Pakistan beat Australia by 32 runs in the ICC World Twenty20 2012 Super Eights at Colombo on Tuesday. tight bowling spells from Hasan, Ajmal and Hafeez helped to restrict Australia 117 for 7 in 20 overs. Pakistan scored 149 for 6 in 20 overs. Australia reached semi finals with net run rate.

Australia won the toss and elected field first. Pakistan loss Moshammad hafeez wicket very early. Nasir Jamshed and Kamran build the Pakistan Innings Nasir Jamhed top scorer for Pakistan with 55 off 46 balls. Kamran Akmal made 32 runs. Mitchell Starc take 3 wickets for 20 runs. Umar Gul 32 of just 17 balls and Umar Akmal 43 helped pakistan beat South Africa by 2 wickets. South Africa lost the game from a winning position, This match was turned out to be a thriller.
